Newcrest Metals Gold and Copper Location 400 kms from Port Hedland, WA Telfer is comprised of the Main Dome, West Dome open pits and underground mines and produces gold and copper via a large, dual train, comminution circuit followed by flotation and cyanide circuits, which produce gold doré and a copper-gold concentrate.

Production stripping for the Stage 5 cutback will commence in September 2021, with first ore production expected to be delivered to the Telfer mill in March 2022.
