Medium duty slurry pump designed for easy maintenance and with the Waterless Seal Technology. The Kpro Slurry pump is 's latest iteration of the classic side suction design that started it all. Easy maintenance and design for up to class 3 slurry services. No seal water required even with high slurry concentrations.
Another batch of pumps went to their new site. This week, we loaded over 20 complete sets of heavy duty AH series slurry pumps along with elec. motors and accessories, and these pumps are going to be shipped to our customer in one of the Russian-speaking countries.. All these slurry pumps are expeller sealed. And in fact, expeller (ring) seal …
Tobee® Expeller CAM028HS1A05 is hi-seal wearing parts used for 4/3C-AH Slurry Pumps. And its main point is reduce centrifugal force and help seal slurry pump. The Hi-seal EXPELLER 028 Slurry Pump Spare Parts is an important part of the expeller seal. The expeller fluid dynamic seal refers to the installation of an open impeller in the opposite direction of the coaxial …
Dynamic Expeller Seal invented the dynamic expeller almost a century ago and has continued to lead advancements in hydrodynamic sealing technologies ever since. It has been the foundation for every pump design, dating all the way back to the ground-breaking Model A slurry pump in 1919. How the Dynamic Expeller Works
The slurry pump expeller seal is unstable if the suction head exceeds 10% of the discharge head. Slurry pump expellers are normally made in metal (cast iron or high chrome) or rubber, special materials are also available. Slurry pump expeller ring is one of the shaft seal parts in centrifugal dynamic seal pumps which is a container of expeller ...
The expeller is not used on flushed seal assemblies. Outotec slurry mechanical seal Used for zero stuffing box leakage or product dilution. Available as single slurry type front flush, mechanical seal or double mechanical seal with external barrier fluid required. It is possible to use dead-end flush on the double seal. 7

Slurry pump expeller is a dynamic component in centrifugal seal slurry pumps which has vanes to reduce the shaft pressure at the shaft seal area. The principle of expeller seal is that the total pressure produced by the pump out vanes and the expeller is greater than the pressure generated by the impeller main vanes plus the inlet pressure.
When the pump is in its best condition, this can reduce leakage to almost zero. The liquid may still leak if the pump is stationary or not operating at its best. To reduce such leakage, gland packing can be used with the expeller seal. Expeller seals have the advantage that leakage can be reduced without having to spend a lot on a mechanical seal.
How do slurry pump centrifugal seals work? A centrifugal seal is a dynamic seal that operates when the pump shaft is rotating but has no sealing effect when the shaft is stationary. A centrifugal seal consists of an 'expeller', a vaned disk connected to the pump shaft, not entirely dissimilar to an impeller.
The expeller is positioned behind the impeller and is separated from the main pumping cavity by a wall, or 'expeller ring'. As long as the pump is running above a minimum speed, the expeller hydraulically seals the shaft by rotating with the impeller, generating a differential pressure gradient that forces the slurry away from the shaft seal and back towards …
The expeller ring is one of the main components composed of the centrifugal seal of the slurry pump, and the centrifugal seal is the most commonly used shaft seal type on the slurry pump. However, centrifugal seals also have limitations. All centrifugal seals have a limited number of inlet heads, which can be sealed relative to the running pump ...
